Kieran Vincent shot a final round six under par 66 for a 72 hole total of 19 under-par 269 to win the $2 million International Series Vietnam at KN Golf Links, in Cam Ranh, on the south-central coast of Vietnam on the Asian Tour.
Vincent, 25 years-old, started the day in fourth spot, three behind the third round leader Takumi Kanaya (Japan), who shot a final round 73 to drop to tied fourth.
He won by just one shot from Dubai’s Anirban Lahiri and Kevin Yuan.
Lahiri shot an equal best of the day 64, including eight birdies and he was out in 30, and had ten pars over the other holes. He made the cut by just two shots in tied 34th place and played the weekend in 67 – 64.
Paul Casey, shot a final round 66 to finish in tied 27th, with his first three rounds of 74, 64 and 72.
The next event on the Asian Tour is from May 4th – 7th with The 42nd GS Caltex Maekyung Open Golf Championship in Korea.
