Dubai: Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club recently hosted the highly anticipated Masters Sunday 2023 golf tournament, which celebrated the most exciting week in the golf calendar. The event was a major success, featuring a challenging course set up with tough pins. The tournament attracted 82 golfers.
Karim Benbouzyane emerged as the winner of the individual stroke play, with an impressive score of four under par (67). Srivinas Chivukula was the runner-up, with a score of two under (69).
The Pro-Am Competition was also fiercely contested, with Sahith Theegala and Amit Pateria coming in as the runner-up with a score of -6, while Phil Mickelson and Ishwar Jodha were crowned champions with a score of -7.
Special prize
In addition to these outstanding performances, there was a special prize for the best net score in the Amen Corner (Holes 16, 17 & 18). Gene Cha, Anish Bhatia, and Jim Dickinson tied for the prize, with Anish Bhatia ultimately declared the winner through a lucky draw.
