Dubai: Japan’s Ushba Tesoro, ridden by Yuga Kawada, claimed the $12 million Emirates Airline Dubai world Cup, the highlight of the Dubai World Cup meeting at Meydan on Saturday.
The six-year-old bay horse, trained by Noboru Takagi, outpaced Godolphin’s Algiers, ridden by James Doyle, by 2.75 lengths to clinch the prestigious crown. Emblem Road, Adel Al Furaydi up, finished third.
