UAE based Edtech startup Airtics Education and Coders HQ are partnering to host regular workshops in Coding in the UAE. On March 4, 2023, they organized Healathon – a healthcare analytics boot camp that was attended by students of 42 Abu Dhabi, coders, professionals, and enthusiasts.
Airtics Education offers a comprehensive range of technology-based education programs for students at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels. The courses are endorsed by reputed international universities and awarding bodies, and cover introductory, intermediate and advanced level study in AI, data science, robotics and automation; machine learning; business intelligence; data analytics; data visualization; digital transformation; and related subjects. Airtics Education is partnering with K-12 schools to create Robotics and STEM labs, offering an innovative curriculum for students to learn about robotics and coding.
Coder's HQ is an initiative from the UAE's Ministry for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications to encourage coding among citizens. Myraa Technologies, Singapore has developed a graph data project that maps Renal Patient Profiles to Clinical Trials & Ongoing Research, connecting renal patients, nephrologists, researchers and research papers.
At the bootcamp, Billa Bhandari, the CEO of VitalProbe Inc., spoke about the importance of predictive analytics in healthcare. He discussed his invention for detecting heart rates and connecting to your smart phone to alert the nearest hospital when your heart rate shows signs of variations. Majed Al-Chatti from AUS and Coders HQ Ambassador talked about Git and Github as well as how to collaborate on such communities.
Iniyan G, co-founder of Wellness Quotient, a community of wellness coaches and enthusiasts, discussed how artificial intelligence might be used in the field of wellness.
At the event, Program Head of Airtics Education, Mohamed Irfan Shaikh discussed various algorithms and predictive models used for different data science and machine learning projects. Shilpa Karkera, the CEO of Myraa Technologies spoke about how to apply design thinking to data science projects for efficiency.
Airtics COO Naheem expressed delight in organizing such events for the coding society and emphasized how such events bring together minds from diverse backgrounds onto a common platform for a noble cause--humanity. He explained how Healathon and Million Coders are aimed at mentoring for Healthcare Analytics projects for preventive detection of cancer, diabetes, and kidney diseases, as well as bridging the gap in digital transformation projects in every sector and empowering coders around the world.
Other speakers at the boot camp included, Rahima Jahangir and Piyali Mondal, program leaders at Airtics; and Abhishek Jha, B2B Sales Specialist at Airtics.
All 32 attendees enjoyed informative talks and interactive workshops, as well as opportunities to network with like-minded people and experts.
