The hotly contested Orient Travel Monthly Medal returned to SGSC on Saturday the 11th of March, the members event runs along side the gross and net order of merit. It was a perfect day for golf and the course was in excellent condition.

Claiming the March edition of the event was Jumadi Bin Husani who played some of his best golf of the season posting a brilliant score of five under par 67. Jumadis round included four net birdies and an impressive two net eagles. Jumadi was delighted to take home the generous prizes put up by the sponsors.

Losing out by just a single shot was past SGSC captain Mukti Rai who posted a great score of 68, unfortunately for Mukti he had to settle for runners up spot on the day. Third place went to current SGSC Ravi AE who posted a brilliant score of 69. SGSC scratch league member Ramli Sulaiman collected the prize on offer for best gross score with a 73.

The Order of Merit will run alongside the Orient Travel monthly medals, it is set up to be an exciting year with lots of SGSCs big names up in contention.
