Jorge Campillo carded the joint-lowest round of the tournament to take a one-stroke lead into the final day of the Magical Kenya Open presented by absa.

The Spaniard, a two-time winner on the DP World Tour, finished his round with four consecutive birdies to sign for a bogey-free eight under par 63 at Muthaiga Golf Club, his lowest round thus far on the 2023 Race to Dubai.

“It was a great round. I played really solid and was able to make a few long putts as well, that helps. I finished great. Four birdies in a row to finish and I didn’t have a chance to make any bogeys. It was a comfortable round. I hit it very solid and I putted great, so everything worked out really good” said Campillo.

MacIntyre carded six birdies and an eagle in a six under par round of 65 to sit in second place on 12 under.

“It was good. Same again. Pretty good off the tee and approach play has been the strength the last wee while and it’s good to see some putts go in. Overall, game is in decent shape” said the Scot.

Sharing third place on 11 under are Masahiro Kawamura of Japan and South African Jayden Schaper, one stroke ahead of Spain's Santiago Tarrio who moved up to fifth after a seven under par round of 64.
