Jumeirah Golf Estates hosted over 30 new members in a fun nine-hole event over the Fire course. The format was a four-person Texas scramble – a team event and a special way to integrate new members. A selection of current members, management and agronomy also participated in the event to complete the teams.

Ladies were teeing up from the Orange tee markers, with gents playing off the Signature tee markers. Each team received a 50% Course Handicap Allowance in the combination from 25% - 20% - 15% - 10% lowest to highest handicaps.

The team of Lewis Delaney, Colin Lynam, Alexander Hutton and Jean Christopher Viollet were victorious. The team scramble winning score was 10 under par, a net 26. They collectively had three net eagles, a net birdie, and a regular birdie. A particular highlight from the round was the net eagle they picked up on hole seven.

Whilst concluding the prize-giving presentation, Adam Stastny, Assistant Golf Services Manager, commented, ‘It was fantastic to see such a great field of new members today - I hope you they enjoyed this fun event. Congratulations to all the prize winners, and we look forward to seeing more of you throughout the season.’
