Dubai: 57 junior golfers competed in the 2023 edition of the Titleist Dubai Creek Junior Open. It was a resounding success, with a record number of entries in the event.

The competition was fierce, with many talented young golfers vying for the top spot. However, it was Joe Jones who emerged victorious, with a stunning score of five under par 66, to become the 2023 Junior Open Champion.

Net division

Jamie Camero finished second with a score of one under (70), while Seoyeon Kim won the net division on a countback with a better back 9 holes and a score of four under (67). Sara Ali finished second in the net division.

There were two on-course prizes, rewarding the very best approach shots. The girls nearest to the pin on hole eight was won by Sara Ali and our boys nearest to the pin on hole 14 was won by Sam Durbin.

After the prize giving, Golf Services Executive, Trisha Kumar said, “We are thrilled with the turnout and the quality of play at this year’s Junior Open, and we thank all the participants for their efforts. We hope to see even more juniors participate in the future, and with Titleist’s continued support, we are confident that we can continue to grow and improve the event. Congratulations to all of our winners and we look forward to seeing you all next year.”
