Peter Uihlein (US) and Talor Gooch (US) lead the individual event after round two on nine under par in the 54 hole $25 million LIV Golf League Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Uihlein (4Aces GC), starting on hole one in this shotgun start format, followed his first round of 67 with a seven birdie – two bogey second round five under par 66 to be joined by Gooch (RangeGoats GC), starting on hole 14, who had five birdies and for the second consecutive day, bogey free on his round.

Uihlein replaced Gooch on the 4Aces this season, with the latter going to play for the RangeGoats, and now they’ll be in the final group come Sunday.

In third place a shot back in Charles Howell III (Crushers GC).

Team Event

In the Team Event, the Crushers GC stay at the top of the leaderboard on 14 under par with contributions from Howell (66), Paul Casey (71) and Dubai based Anirban Lahiri (72).

Crushers GC Captain, Bryson DeChambeau (72. 73) did not feature in the best three from four scores for this the second day in a row.

Two shots back in the Team Event are the defending LIV Golf Team champions 4Aces GC, with Team members: Dustin Johnson (US, Capt), Uihlein, Pat Perez (US) and Patrick Reed (US).

The final round tomorrow (Sunday) sees $20 million up for grabs in the Individual Event and a $5 million purse for the Team Event.
